I did not decide to become a writer in my 40’s to get rich. I am a storyteller and have been my whole life. My hope is to add to the collective story of humanity.

I do not need validation from a corporate lackey

My hope as a writer is that someday, someone will read something I have written and be inspired. That is all. I write in several genres and wish to reach a large audience but this will never be the driving force behind why I write. I feel that I have some cool stories to tell and some life experiences to share.

I have no delusions about becoming the next James Patterson or Anne Rice, but I feel that I have some things to contribute to Our story as a whole. I overcame 27 years of addiction, incarceration, and homelessness to become a professional writer and full-time homesteader.

Yup, I now own almost 20 acres in Southern Colorado in the foothills of the Rocky Mts. I am married to THE most amazingly strong, beautiful, funny, smart, kind, and compassionate Barefoot Mama a man could ever hope to have.
