A bit about me…
I am a seeker of knowledge. Ever since I was a child I have had an insatiable appetite for reading and asking questions. My older sister taught me to read when I was 3 years old with Dr. Seuss One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
In the 4th grade, my older brother gave me a copy of Animal Farm by George Orwell and my life was never the same again. I grew up in the 80’s listening to Punk Rock and Heavy Metal and have always had a lack of respect for authority.
When I was 12 I was kicked out of my Dad's house for fighting back against my abusive stepmom and immediately turned to I.V. drugs. At 13 I was raped by at least 2 men and left for dead and spent the next 5 years trying to survive the streets of S. Jersey.
When I was 18 I left NJ to follow the Grateful Dead and wound up in Colorado in 1993. for the next 20 years, I would make a career out of getting high and going to jail until finally on 10/28/2013 I took my own life with an intentional overdose. I did not succeed.
I used this as a catalyst to get my life together and now 8 years later I am finally making the leap to professional author.
